KidsPak to Host Community Food Drive March 31 – April 2

Thompson School District is pleased to support KidsPak, a Loveland Rotary project that serves “food insecure” students throughout the district. KidsPak provides weekend food to 600 students in 39 schools in TSD. In total, the program will create and deliver over 18,500 bags of food during the current school year.

To help support the program, a KidsPak community food drive will be held March 31 – April 2.  You may purchase selected items at all three Safeway stores, both King Soopers and both Walmart stores in Loveland. Specially marked barrels will be located at each store. The items in need are listed below:

– Ravioli (15 oz)
– “Hunts” pasta sauce (24 oz)
– Spaghetti (1 lb)
– fruit cups (4 oz) (4 or 6 pack)
– tuna or chicken (5 oz in water)
– macaroni and cheese (7 oz)
– green beans or corn (15 oz)
– “Nature Valley Oats and Honey” granola bars
Your support of this food drive will help the KidsPak team to continue to make a huge difference in the lives of many students in our district.  Thank you very much for your support of this program.
