“Alexa’s Hugs,” a local program that emphasizes the importance of seat belt safety and driver awareness through engaging and interactive events, is working with “Safe Kids Larimer County” to assist with teen driving efforts in northern Colorado. The work is made possible thanks to a grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation. Organizers will be offering a FREE CLASS for teen drivers and their parents. Please see the information below:
“Parents and teens…join Alexa’s Hugs and UCHealth for an evening filled with fun activities and an interactive presentation on the Graduated Driver License law. You’ll learn tips and tricks on how to help your teen learn to drive, where to practice, and hear from an insurance agent about how a teen on your insurance can affect your rates. You will leave with a handy tool kit with checklists and a parent/teen contract to implement in your family.
Participate in interactive simulations and games, experience cognitive distraction, and enter to win prizes!
RSVP and you’ll get a little treat!
