TSD Students to Establish “Cardboard Box City” to Raise Homelessness Awareness

November has been designated as “Homeless Youth Awareness Month.” In recognition of the designation, Thompson School District is pleased to announce that four district high schools will be participating in the upcoming “Cardboard Box City” event.

TSD is proud to partner with the House of Neighborly Services for this event, which will serve as a fundraiser for the organization’s “Angel House” and the Thompson Education Foundation Homeless Assistance Fund. The program is designed to raise awareness about homelessness and the significant impact that it has in our schools and community. It will be held on Friday, November 11, between 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. at “Life Center.” Please see the image below for additional details.
