Summer in Thompson-Experiences in Math and Science or STEMS is an innovative summer environment designed to engage students in learning beyond the classroom. Students also learning real-life skills that can be applied to careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. 

There are 46 different classes to choose from, including:

Kindergarten & First Grade:

  • New! Geo-Gami: Math with Origami
  • New! Crazy about Critters
  • Earth Rocks

Second & Third Grade:

  • Brain Games
  • Physics in Phun
  • Fun with Architecture and Design

Fourth & Fifth Grade:

  • New! Wild and Wacky Weather
  • Mythbusters: Confirm or Bust
  • New! CSI Whodunnit

Sixth Through Eighth Grade: 

  • Sports Science
  • New! 3D Printing
  • New! Solving the Mystery of your Family History

STEMS is open to all students currently enrolled in Grades K-8. Out-of-district students are also welcome.

Dates: June 6-10 and June 13-17
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Cost: Classes start at $85
*Discounts available to students who qualify for Free & Reduced meals

Registration: March 1-31, 2016
Late Registration: April 1-15, 2016
