Thompson Education Foundation will celebrate Thompson School District educators during the eighth annual Educator Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. at Embassy Suites Loveland. During the breakfast, the winners of the Educator of the Year awards will be announced.
The Educator of the Year awards recognize outstanding Thompson School District staff members for excellence in education through their ability to empower, challenge, and inspire. Educator of the Year nominations were received from coworkers, supervisors, parents and community members. TEF will honor these educators with the following 2016 categories:
• Elementary Teacher of the Year (pre-kindergarten – fifth grade)
• Secondary Teacher of the Year (sixth grade – twelfth grade)
• Classified Employee of the Year
• Administrative, Professional, or Technical Employee of the Year
• Thompson Education Foundation Educator of the Year
