If middle school students are asked to name a leader, whom might they chose?
Perhaps the President of the United States, Peyton Manning, their faith leader, or a popular teacher might make the list. Would they name a peer, or even themselves?
How can we help our children self-identify as leaders and recognize a passion within to propel them into a leadership role? Rise Inside is a 3 day workshop for middle school students that challenges participants to:
- Step out of their comfort zone
- Become aware of their community
- Define a passion and purpose
- Empower themselves with leadership skills to become change agents
Rise Inside workshops are filled with exploratory activities and extension projects that challenge students to dig deep, reflect on the impact of choices and design a leadership action plan.
When: February 27, March 5, March 19 from 9:00am-3:00pm
